AUHS Represents at the Orange County Pharmacists’ Association 8th Annual Social Event

CPhA CEO and President joins the newly installed executive board members

On March 7, 2020, the Orange County Pharmacists Association (OCPhA) held its 8th Annual Social Event at the Brea Community Center. Every year, OCPhA hosts this networking event for its members and to enjoy an evening of Industry Night, raffles, a fully hosted bar, entertainment, and a colorful appetizer buffet.

This year, American University of Health Sciences (AUHS) was a Gold Sponsor for the Annual Social Event, donating $1500 to the organization. Two AUHS School of Pharmacy students represented AUHS at the exhibit table and professionally presented AUHS’s vision, mission, and values.

Over 200 attendees – pharmacists, student pharmacists, community members, pharmacy organization leaders from Orange and Los Angeles Counties were at the event. Joining the celebration also were the new California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) CEO, Susan Bonilla and current CPhA president Dr. Ken Thai.

The OCPhA board members were also installed at the annual social, including our very own Dr. Elaine Nguyen from American University of Health Sciences (AUHS), School of Pharmacy. In the middle of the event, Dr. Nguyen made a special announcement to promote AUHS School of Pharmacy.
