The value of broadening your education even beyond the scope of your specific field cannot be overstated. Classes in the arts and humanities teach us valuable information about the world, the people who inhabit it, and how we can interact with these people in the most productive manner possible. This is why most every university requires students to complete a number of general education classes regardless of their chosen major.

At AUHS, we’re happy to be able to offer a range of general education classes to our nursing and pharmacy students. Whether you are bringing some credits into AUHS or have not yet taken any foundational, general education classes, the GE classes at AUHS allow you to jump right into your major and complete all the courses that are required at the same university where you are taking your major classes.

To learn more about the general education classes offered at AUHS, be sure to check out our complete list of general education courses, as well as our pages about AUHS’s general education faculty, and the dean of the department.
