Bio
David Omut, MBA, is the Director of the Simulation Laboratory and Interprofessional Education at the American University of Health Sciences. He has over 13 years simulation experience and has helped to develop the simulation and interprofessional education programs at AUHS. Before coming to AUHS, Mr. Omut had experience in with other Allied Health and Nursing schools, helped develop simulation programs for CTE programs in high schools, and worked for Laerdal Medical, the leader in medical simulation. Mr. Omut is passionate about using evidence-based practice to improve learning through simulation and interprofessional education. His goal is to make a high level of training possible by providing scenarios and manikins for interprofessional education.
