Assistant Director / Registrar
Ms. Alma Pineda has been a valued American University of Health Sciences (AUHS) member since 2012. She currently holds a dual role as Assistant Director of Student Services and University Registrar, where she plays a key role in supporting both student success and academic operations.
In her position, Ms. Pineda manages the day-to-day functions of the Student Services and Registrar’s Offices. Her responsibilities include implementing academic policies, overseeing course registration, maintaining accurate student records, conducting degree audits, and certifying graduation. She works closely with university leadership and cross-functional teams to improve administrative processes and provide high-quality student support.
In addition to her primary responsibilities, Ms. Pineda also serves as Coordinator for the General Education Department, supporting academic coordination and scheduling.
She is also instrumental in planning and executing major university events such as graduation ceremony, the pinning ceremony, and the white coat ceremony, which celebrate significant milestones in students’ academic journeys.
