Bio
Alea Sohn is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for lifestyle medicine, preventive care, and patient education. She’s currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Florida State University, building on her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern California and nearly a decade of hands-on clinical experience.
Her background spans pediatric and midwifery care, hospital-based nursing, and academic instruction. Alea currently serves as a Professor and Clinical Instructor at Career Network Institute and also contributes to clinical pediatric coursework at American University of Health Sciences (AUHS). Known for her engaging and approachable teaching style, students consistently describe her as interactive, fun, and supportive.
She’s an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the California Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Holistic Nurses Association. Known for her academic dedication and active engagement in professional communities such as Sigma Theta Tau and Phi Theta Kappa, Alea remains a passionate advocate for quality education and meaningful patient care.
Alea’s work reflects her belief that the most effective care comes from combining deep clinical expertise with compassion and respect for everyone.
