Josephine (Jopye) brings over 25 years of dedicated experience in obstetrical nursing, with a strong clinical foundation in Maternal-Child Health and evidence-based care. Her extensive background includes roles in Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby units, Newborn Nursery, and High-Risk Obstetrics within hospital-based settings.
Passionate about bridging theory and practice, Josephine emphasizes hands-on learning, critical thinking, and clinical excellence. She is committed to preparing nursing students to excel in obstetrical care through immersive, real-world clinical experiences.
Josephine contributes to the clinical courses at the American University of Health Sciences (AUHS), where she continues to mentor and guide BSN students, helping them build the skills, confidence, and clinical judgment necessary for effective hospital-based practice.
