Over 35 years of RN experience and 14+ years in education, with a strong focus on OB, pediatrics, med-surg, leadership, and ethics in both academic and clinical settings.
Dr. Meerabai Narasimalu has over 35 years of experience as a registered nurse and more than 14 years in nursing education. Her areas of instructional expertise include obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, clinical instruction, leadership theory, fundamentals of nursing, and nursing ethics. She has taught at multiple nursing schools, guiding students in both classroom and clinical settings.
In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Narasimalu has over 15 years of healthcare administrative experience, further enriching her ability to mentor students with real-world system-level insights.
Her teaching philosophy emphasizes education as a dynamic, collaborative process. She fosters respectful, inclusive learning environments where students are encouraged to grow into confident, ethical, and compassionate nursing professionals.
