Bio
Stephanie Wagas, MSN-Ed, FNP(c), RN is a dedicated nurse educator and practicing clinician committed to advancing the nursing profession through academic excellence and hands-on experience. She currently serves as a faculty member in the School of Nursing at the American University of Health Sciences (AUHS), where she guides nursing students with a focus on clinical competence, compassion, and leadership.
Ms. Wagas earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Education (MSN-Ed), and Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) from AUHS. Her academic foundation is rooted in service-oriented, faith-based values that emphasize holistic, patient-centered care.
In addition to her role in academia, Stephanie works as a Burn ICU Registered Nurse at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. Her clinical practice in one of the most demanding and specialized critical care environments enables her to bring current, real-world insights to the classroom, enriching the learning experience for her students.
Stephanie is passionate about mentoring the next generation of nurses, preparing them to deliver safe, ethical, and culturally competent care.
