“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed; for the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) It is essential to train your faith by being courageous and acting. “Joshua was not sure he could lead the Israelites across the Jordan after he took over from Moses. But God told him that he will be with him and that it will be a success.” “God is not only with us but also carrying us. Not just passively but actively.” We might not always see him, but he is there like a set of footprints walking next to us on the beach. When the water gets rough, there may only appear to be only one set (your own), but when the tide clears, you can see that he never left.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” (Psalm 37:5) But what does it mean to trust in Jesus? “It is a journey, one where developing more trust comes through creating and fostering a relationship with God.” We cannot accomplish anything without god. So it is essential to acknowledge him and his force in our lives.
“In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.” (John 10:10) Trust is hard to do when we all want to be in control of everything. “Remember when we were all kids and we trusted our parents unconditionally? Our trust in God should be the same.”
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” (Psalm 143:5) We should not only pray in the morning but all day and all night. Trust that he will guide you. He guides you throughout your life. We often remember this in hard and bad times. But he is also guiding us in the good times. “In the morning, let God’s word and presence give you peace that will take you through the day.”
“We live by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7) Seeing is believing, but sometimes we need to remember to let go and let god. This is when miracles happen. “Frequently, you hear a lot of noise or doubt. Don’t listen to it. Keep your faith.” Faith is something you hope for but do not see. “A lot of times, we don’t see the path because we need help at that moment. But if we look beyond the situation and keep the faith and realize that the distance.” God allows you to see the glory through patience.
