Below are some testimonials from AUHS students describing their experience at American University of Health Sciences.

Camille Villanueva
“I was so very impressed with AUHS for the following 5 reasons: First is the way that your school goes through the applicant screening process to better ensure the quality of students that would be attending this school. Most school accepts students right away without questions and I appreciate the fact that your university takes this in consideration. Second, I like that the advisers are very supportive and educates future students well regarding the nursing program and what to expect. Next, we have students doing their clinical at my workplace and I have talked to a few of them and they state that their schooling experience at AUHS so far is a good one.

The last two are the help I’ve been receiving so far from the advisers and also this school is more convenient for me and the one that I’ve truly liked so far from my school hunting.”

“I would recommend AUHS.  The nursing program is only 13 quarters. It means as high school student I would be able to become a RN at the age of 22. It’d be dream to fulfill my goal to become a Registered Nurse in such a short amount of time. They have genuine and responsive staff. The minute I walked in the door I was treated like family. Dina Hsu was very informative about the nursing program. She never failed to answer all of my questions and even gave me a good luck hug before the interview.

Moreover, it caught my attention when I found out that American University is a Christian school. Being Christians, I know that all they will be down to earth and teach with faith. I can already see the interest they have in their students and that all they want is for them to graduate. It’s very comforting to know that AUHS will not only provide me with the education, but also set me up successfully for the rest of my life.

I also think it’s a very great opportunity that the school allows students to travel to a different country in their third year and that the students are required to fulfill 100 community service hours. I believe that builds the perfect character for a nurse, having concern for the less fortunate and actually enjoying what they do.”
