Information
The objective of the Financial Aid Office at the University
is to assist students in their lifelong education goals, their
ambitions, and their dreams. Its does so by removing as much
as possible economic barriers that would seem to prevent the
realization of the same.
To
bring this about, the University participates in a variety
of financial assistance programs, which include grants, loans
and scholarships. These programs are available to all students
who are eligible and who desire to benefit from specialized
education.
Students who
wish to apply for financial aid must complete the admission
process and be accepted into the program prior to applying.
Financial aid applications are available and can be obtained
by scheduling an appointment with the Financial Aid Director.
At the time of application, the Financial Aid Director will
provide the applicant with assistance in applying for financial
aid. Eligibility is determined by the Financial Aid Director
using need analysis software provided by the Department of
Education. Financial Aid is distributed to those students
who qualify. Campus based aid (Perkins, SEOG, and Work-Study)
is distributed to those students who demonstrate the most
need and/or have special circumstances. Every student who
wishes to apply for financial aid may do so. Students will
be notified of their eligibility once all paperwork and documentation
is completed. It is the student’s responsibility to
provide the Financial Aid Director with the documentation
necessary to complete the application. Financial Aid will
not be awarded until the student provides all necessary documentation.
